Black magic Design Desktop Video

Hi

I purchased a Blacmagic H.264 recorder. However now I've got an issue.

I cannot set up it the supplied software.

I get this error message:

Blackmagic Design Desktop Video Setup

An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'Microsoft.VC90.MFC, version="9.0.30729.4148",publick
eyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="
x86",type="Win32". Please refer to Help and Support
for more information.

Unfortunately,this problem isn't exact for this application; I find this or a same error when I am trying to set up all type of software. I feel it must be in registry trouble, it all began after I had a press the reset button in a couple of PCs.

I need to solve this issue. I need your help. Please help me.

Hello Christ,

Well, since you are getting that error when you try to setup close to all applications on your computer, the problem is most likely with the operating system and not the Back Magic Design Desktop Video Setup application. To resolve the issue, you will need to follow the steps below:

  • You will need to figure out the time when the problem started occurring and then use the System Restore utility to remove any changes you might have made on the system that are affecting the application.
  • You can as well use CCleaner to repair any problems with the registry entries on your computer; in case they are there.

Once you have done the above, the Back Magic Design Desktop Video Setup application should work just fine.
