There are lots of free editors available online although it depends on whether it is a PC or a MAC Operating System. However, Notepad++, SharpDevelop and Visual C#2010 express are some of them.

I reckon that visual C# 2010 Express edition is the best tool. It is free and available for download from the Microsoft / download.

Another good choice is Sharp Develop because it supports intelligence, toolbox, and many more features that are also available in Microsoft Visual C# Express edition.

Although both programs have great features, Microsoft Visual C # 2010 Express Edition is the most preferred because of its documentation, examples and screenshots that help get users started.

You may want to download Visual C# express edition.

And SharpDevelop could be downloaded from: http://www.icsharpcode.net/

Hi,

I know that the best user-friendly, free editor for development of asp.net application. They are Microsoft Visual C#, Notepad++ and Sharp develop.

Amongst these software, the most common and widely used is Microsoft Visual C Sharp. It is heavily used to develop ASP.Net websites and stand-alone applications using the .Net framework.

Notepad++ is often used as a text editor in Windows. The advantage of this application is that it supports tabbed editing by allowing users to open multiple files when working.

In my opinion these are the best editor in the market. However, it has it's own pros and cons. This depends on the programmer's style of coding. Some works with them but some uses and prefer using the other.

They have their own style of coding, feature and functions. The best thing is they give the same results but uses different style of coding and how it works.

Specially the context and how it was built. So, if you are to become a programmer soon, be sure what software programming you'll need to master. What best editor you want to as your bread and butter.

Visual C# 2010 console
