Benefit of Apple’s NFC in India

As Apple has Launched NFC with its new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus but I am curious to know what is the advantage of NFC in India. Apple haven't tied up with the Brands to pay through Apple Pay. So will this option be worth using in India, if Yes then how can we utilize it. Can we transfer songs over Bluetooth within Apple Devices?

Benefit of Apple’s NFC in India

NFC stands for Near-Field Communication or near-field communication. It is an intuitive technology that lets you use your Smartphone for special purposes. It is a type of short-range wireless communication wherein the antenna is much smaller than the wavelength of the carrier signal. This way, no standing wave shall develop within the antenna.

Users can use their devices with NFC technology in contactless payment systems. Just like with PayPal, the most preferred online payment method, you can only use the NFC on your Smartphone where Apple Pay is supported. Usually, the availability of this payment method from Apple varies depending on the establishment in your country.

For example, if you are in India, check with the store if they support Apple Pay. If not or there are no stores that currently support Apple Pay in your country then NFC will be of no use.
