Beginner at removing virus from computer

Hello there,

My computer just won't work the way that it used to.  The screen hangs for several minutes, and I have to keep restarting the thing.  I think there might be a virus.  I haven't dealt with viruses before.  What should I do first to fix my desktop computer?

Hi Mr. Josiah Larson,

 I'm a Information Technology Graduate and I think i will solve Your Problem.  If the computer have lot of Viruses , You need to Reformat the Hard Disk Drive of your Computer. 

If You are familiar In Formatting Computer I think this would Be the best Choice To Do. Backup all your Important Files To Removable Drive Like External Hard Drive, Usb Stick , Pen Drive and Flash Drives , when your Done backup all Files then Start Reformatting Your Computer then If you Found Your Pc's Hang Again i think You need To replace your video Card to a new one. Make Sure You Installed a Genuine Anti Virus and done Forget to Update it.

Beginner at removing virus from computer

 

 Hello Good day,  

 

Hanging problem might cause of some problems in your computer. Before anything else have you try to remove and clean up your Random Access Memory inside your system unit? If not, Please try. But be careful with the memory pins much better if you have a companion knows how to remove RAM in your computer properly. After you remove it clean the memory pins using a rubber eraser carefuly, because some hang problem might cause of dirty Random Access Memory. After you clean it up, Put it back correctly and properly, and then try to turn on your computer. If that solution doesn’t solve your problem now we should try to solve it by formatting your desktop computer. If you know how to reformat computer proceed to that solution, try set 1 partition only don’t choose quick format, choose the other option of formatting cause that option can scan and fix bad sector in your hard drive . And if again that solution doesn’t work, I recommend that you should replace your Hard disk. Bad hard disk has the big percentage that might be able to cause hang.
