Battery of HTC One not charging

I am using HTC One and recently it has encountered a problem. Its battery gets charged only when its totally drained up otherwise when I connect it to the adapter nothing happens. Even when the battery is totally drained up and I keep for charging, the red light on the side of the phone keeps blinking and blinking all the time. Does anyone know what has gone wrong here? How can I rsolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

Battery of HTC One not charging

Hi Barb,

There are a couple of reasons why this maybe happening. You may be using a USB charger to charge your phone instead of the charger provided by HTC. USB ports are usually designed for file transfers and not charging a device even when there is some power. It might also be that the HTC Charger is the one that is faulty; you can therefore try other chargers that are compatible with your HTC and see what happens. If all does not go accordingly, visit the shop you got your device from so that you can be advised accordingly.
