Yahoo launched new mobile browser and search tool called "Yahoo Axis" the good thing about this is you can search the web using your IPad, IPhone or computer and then pick up that search when they move from one device to the next.

Your browse and search history, bookmarks and saved articles are always available wherever you need them. Axis web browser of Yahoo

Yahoo! Axis has different functions between a personal computer and a Smartphone. For desktop computers, Yahoo! Axis is a web browser extension for the Google Chrome browser. If you have a Smartphone that runs on iOS, Yahoo! Axis can be used as a mobile web browser like Safari. It was publicly announced in May 23, 2012.

But due to an incident, it was abruptly discontinued. The reason for its untimely discontinuation was an accidental leakage. A duplicate of the private key that was used to sign authorized Yahoo browser extensions for the Google Chrome browser was unintentionally disclosed in its initial public release. That’s why on June 28, 2013, Yahoo! declared the discontinuation of the Axis browser extension.
