Hi,

I have never used Avid product user before. I have recently tried to install latest codecs for MAC.

I am using iMAC i7 running lion OS, but the installation has failed. So, I think that may be some testing needs to be done.

I have tried several times but have always failed with the error message window displayed below.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I have read your problem and a best solution for your problem which I will recommend you is,
The Avid Codec’s are intended for systems without Media Composer on them, to allow them to play files created with the Avid codec’s. If you've already got Media Composer installed on the system, you do not need to install the codec’s separately, as they're installed as part of the Media Composer installation.

It will be overlapped and creates problem if you install both of them at same time.
Hope so you will get the solution from my suggestion.
Good luck for your future working.
Thanks.
