Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis – Service Pack won’t install

Hello,

I am trying to find the Robot forum but I am not getting any success. Therefore I decided to place my problem here. From Autodesk Student Community downloads I downloaded Robot, and while I attempt to install any update from the Autodesk website, I receive an error message which says:

 

The service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product not be located on your computer.

Make sure that you are using the correct service pack for the product.

Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis – Service Pack won’t install

 

Hi there Jeo Tolbert,

 

There are no known issues about the piece of software you're trying to install. Since it looks like everything else is working, except this piece, my assumption would be that you are trying to install the wrong version of the service pack.

 

Please, double check the version of AutoDesk you are using and find an appropriate service pack (i.e. if you are using the pro version you will need a service pack for pro version). 

 

Also, make sure you're running the installation as an administrator.
