Autodesk Design Review 2012 installation error

Hi experts,

When I am in the process of Autodesk Design Review 2012 installation, it fails and throws me an error message. But this Microsoft Visual C++ is not installed in the computer. In what way they are related? I am a beginner so please guide me. For your information I installed the Autodesk Design review through official Autodesk download website. Please help.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 redistributable is required to continue with the installation. Please visit Microsoft download site to retrieve the redistributable package.

Autodesk Design Review 2012 installation error

Hello,

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package is the most important part of the program you’re trying to run. This program was built using Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 so the runtime package is required.

In order to run the program, download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package from here.

Now, your program will definitely run perfectly.

Also, I’d like suggest you to install all the packages mentioned here because various programs uses various versions of MS Visual C++ so different runtime is required.
