Hi guys
I am a draftsman and graphic designer, working with Autocad 2004 (yeah 2004 lol, sorry my employers are cheap a** :D) and Photoshop. When I open Autocad 2004, I always get this error:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0054 Exception at 72c214h
It is so nerve wrecking that I want to pull the plug of my computer! I am genuinely concerned about this problem and I will be thankful for any solutions.

Please check the following:

Have you applied the Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD 2004?

Do you have other applications running or installed lately (Cisco security agent, VPN, antivirus, Object Desktop Theme/Winstyles, etc.)?
-
Is your disk structure correct? Perform CHKDSK on your disk and check the TEMP folders.
-
Any intermittent software problems can be also caused by hardware failures.

Hi,
You need to select the following things:

Check whether you have the service pack 1 installed with AutoCAD 2004.Â
-
Check whether you have any other software ready and installed on your computer.
-
 Is your disk structure correct?
-
You can check this through the CHKDISK.Â
-
You also need to check the Temp folder.
-
 Check whether there is any intermittent problems that might be caused due to hardware problem.Â
If you find any of the above problem then you need to contact any hardware engineer.
