Hi there

I have read your problem and this may be because you having older graphic card which does not support the version of AutoCAD you installing. The below picture will show you the requirements for installing AutoCAD 2013 on Mac:

For AutoCAD 2013 (Mac):

– Apple Mac OS X version 10.6.8, OS X 10.7.2 or later, OS X 10.8 or later with 64-Bit Intel Processor.

– Apple Mac Pro 4.1 or later; MacBook Pro 5.1 or later (MacBook Pro 6.1 or later is recommended); Mac Mini 3.1 or later (Mac Mini 4.1 or later is recommended); MacBook Air 2.1 or later; MacBook 5.1 or later (MacBook 7.1 or later is recommended).

– You need at least 3GB of RAM (4GB is recommended)

– 2.5GB free disk space for downloading and installing the software (3GB is recommended).

– Supported hardware for graphics card.

– 1,280 x 800 display with true color (1,600 x 1,200 with true color is recommended)

– Mac OS X supported language OS

– Apple Mouse, Magic Mouse, Magic trackpad, MacBook Pro Trackpad or Microsoft compliant mouse

– Mac OS X compliant printer

If your pc having these requirements try installing a different version of AutoCAD

Best of Luck

Thank You

Hi Raymond F Wagar,

I used to pass the same experience as yours while installing the WHIP, and I found out that the best solution was to delete and then reinstall the software.
After this the program setup and initialization were working perfectly for me.

Also be careful to use the version that best fits your PC requirements as well, this is a necessary consideration before buying/downloading the software.
