If this is the first time that this happens with your application, try restarting your computer then try it again. See if you can open the program after a reboot. If nothing has changed, try doing a clean installation again to fix any corrupted files that may have developed during your previous sessions. Uninstall the picture file merger then restart your computer when asked. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics test on your computer, use disk utility applications like PC Tools Performance Toolkit, or Norton SystemWorks. Install the application again then see if you are now able to use it.

You may also try upgrading your present version of the program. Or, you may simply try downloading and installing a different program that works similarly as your picture file merger.

Unfortunately, you did not indicate the program you used to merge your files. If you installed a program to merge the files and it keeps crashing every time you use it, check if it is compatible with your computer. Go to the website where you downloaded it and check its system requirements and make sure your computer meets the requirements. If the program is compatible, try to uninstall and reinstall.

Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select the affected program among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer.

When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install the program back. Try also installing a much newer version of the program. Alternatively, try merging your files online. Go to Merge into JPG. This allows you to merge multiple JPG files into one JPG format.
