Are ZIP dan RAR formats supported by Blackberry phones?

I just downloaded a few ZIP Dan RAR files on my blackberry. My OS version is 7.1.0.649.

Is it possible to extract files from these archives on my phone? 3rd party plugins perhaps?

Hi,

To extract zip and rar files in blackberry you have to download application called ‘rock file manager’ from website appworld.blackberry.com . here click webstore menu and type rock file manager in search bar you will get results click one of link. better search for rockfilemanagetrial for free version software. another 3 rd party application ‘unrar’ to download this go to getblackberry.info and type unrar in search bar get results and install it to extract files.
