Hello,

Ask and Record Toolbar was an amazing program to capture videos and audios from your PC.  Unfortunately Ask and Record Toolbar has now been renamed as Freecorder.  Old versions of Ask and Record Toolbar still exist and can be downloaded in http://download.cnet.com/archive/3000-13633_4-10913948.html or at softpedia.com.  The version available in these sites is Ask and Record Toolbar 4.0.  The version 4.0 can run in operating systems like Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows Vista.

The difference between the two is that Freecorder is capable of converting YouTube videos to MP3, AVI, WMV, and MPEG-4.  And it can play media files.  The old version doesn’t support YouTube downloads, but with Freecorder installed in your browser, you can download videos from YouTube without limit.

Supported browsers are Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome.

You can download Freecorder softer from here:http://applian.com/windows/?utm_source=clipnabber&utm_medium=redirect
