Apple fixed crashing downloaded applications

Apple has said that they already fixed the server bug that is causing for newly downloaded applications to crash. How about unsuccessful updates? I experience updates that do not continue to download. Do they have a fix for that?

Apple fixed crashing downloaded applications

Hi Donna,

Yes the Apple store had a Bug that caused downloaded apps to crash when lunched. The Apple team worked hard to repair this problem and users who had downloaded the corrupt apps were asked to delete and re-download.

Users still complain about apps crashing after installing updates. This might be due to the fact that some binary encryption that happens internally in the App Store is only halfway-done. Therefore the updates arrive half encrypted, and so IOS does not recognize the updates as valid executable APP store binaries.

The problem is therefore on the part of the Apple team.
