Any ideas on sending SMS through VFP (Microsoft Visual FoxPro)

Hello. I would like to send an SMS using VFP. How can I do that? Is it very complicated or not? Please explain to me in a detailed way. If you have links for tutorials on sending SMS through VFP, then please include them so that I can refer. Thanks experts.

Hi Steve

You can send SMS using e-mail. You have to check SMS gateway to be sure that your message will arrive at wanted place. Your e-mail must be sent to address which have to look like this: phonenumber@provider. I will provide you with link where you can find list of SMS gateways so you can try my method.

Hello Steve,

Yes, You can send SMS using Microsoft Visual FosPro. To do this, you must have VFP and a SMS gateway application eg, Ozeki-NG installed on your system. This is not difficult to do but you will follow the procedure shown on this video tutorial   

You can download Ozeki-NG SMS gateway from http://www.ozekisms.com/

NOTE: You need basic knowledge of SQL and VFP.
