I got this image from Google. I just want to verify some information.

Will this help me to stop receiving spam e-mail messages?

It's so disgusting to receive tons of spam messages daily.

Do you have any suggestions for me to get rid of this?

Softwares like this can be installed to your computer and can be downloaded free from the internet but they will only be able to stop several spam mails and not everything. If you want to get rid of Spam mail, be careful as to where you post your email addresses.

You can disguise your email when you post them in the internet by using special characters. Spammers also use softwares to gather email addresses in the internet and they are not able to distinguish between real emails and disguised emails. You should also be careful when joining websites, read the boxes before checking them especially the subscription part.

You can also use disposable email addresses that you can discard if it gets infiltrated by spam mail and just create a new one. You should also have different email addresses for different purposes like business, bills, personal mails, and networking emails.

Hello Justin,

First of all, I would like to know what email service are you using? Different email providers have different anti-spam measures and can be used effectively to sort out important emails from spam. Gmail has one of the most sophisticated spam protection services.

One of the tools that you can use is to create a filter with the spamming domain to direct spam emails to spam folder. You can read more about setting up a filter here.

If you are using an email client like Outlook, you can choose not to download emails from spam folder or to prevent spam. You can read about it in this tutorial.  Finally ask your Internet service provider if it goes beyond your control.

I hope that was helpful.

Abe.
