I would directly go to my problem, and that is always getting an error whenever I try to install Kaspersky Pure.

How do I have to understand this message “Error 1722.

There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.

Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Action InstalllDriverKI1X64, location CProgram files(x86) Kaspersky LabKaspersky PUREKLIFX64drvins64.exe, command:install kl1 "C:Program Files(x86)Kaspersky LabKaspersky PUREKLIFX64kl1.inf" "C:…kl1.cat" kl1.cat.

How can I get rid of this?

It is totally pissing me off.

This problem could originate from corrupted or wrong registry entry of your computer system. Run and edit your registry.

Make sure that you remove all file associated with Kaspersky which came from your previous attempt to install it to your computer. Run application remover to ensure that you already remove files associated to Kaspersky.

Restart your computer then install it again to your system.

Hello Allison,

The error  you are getting could be as a result of incorrect installation of the system driver klim.sys.

To resolve it, do the following:

  • You will need to run setup of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 MP2Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 MP2 
  • And then during the setup process, you will clear the box Enable Self-Defense before installation
  • After that click the Install button.
  • In case that does not help, do the following:
  • You will need to download the archive 1722.zip  that will get here: 
  • After that you will need to unpack and then save all files from the archive to one folder 
  • And then double-click the file to run it

    • for Windows Vista 32 bit, you will need to click the file vista32.reg
    • for Windows Vista 64 bit click, you will need to click the file vista64.reg
  • After that click OK in the Registry Editor window to verify that you want to include the information to the system registry
  • And then click the OK button.

GOOD Day!

I hope you are now in great problem associated with your pc and you are now in trouble for in pure Kaspersky installation problem. Don’t I am going to suggest you to follow some indication and hope that after following the suggestion you can fix up your problem.

  • Disable Kaspersky auto-defense which is situated in the settings.
  • Right click >choose  the red K icon> click exit
  • Uninstall Kaspersky from reboot.
  • Run the removal tool in safe mood
  • Follow the link :
  • Choose specific product.
  • When the tool completes, don’t reboot.
  • repeat Running the removal tool.
  • Reboot after running the tool for the final time
  •  Install windows 7 service pack 1  from  reboot.
  • you have to be Ensured about  windows Defender is disable now
  • Right click the Kaspersky installer and select Run as Administrator.
  • Inspect to get Custom install checkbox, after checking the box  observe the protect the installation process checkbox> uncheck and continue.
