All USB Ports on My Laptop are not Working

It seems you are having trouble with the USB ports on your PC.

I think it's a hardware failure. The USB ports are hard to get repaired, cause it is just ported and no other components, so it is very cheap, search in eBay for USB ports, get them and replace the other USB ports.

1. The front USB is connected to the motherboard via a some group of wires connected to the front side bus of the motherboard.

2. Pull the port out and unhook the port from the front side and then remove it.

3. Likewise insert the new USB port and then plug in its wires.

Note :- back USB ports are very hard to change since it is soldered to the motherboard base.

Contact your motherboard manufacturer in case.

This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista. If you have Microsoft Windows 7, download Windows 7 Service Pack 1. This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7.

If you have Microsoft Windows 8, you should update to Windows 8.1 to have a continued support. See if this fixes the problem with your USB ports.
