Usually in the office i would be asked to zip some files and email it to clients, there are times when i would just immediately click on stuff not knowing that those words mean and what difference it does have. I have been using a zip format for packing files into one data but from the software, there are two options though, one would be the .zip and the other one is the rar file ext or extension. I might wonder if what would be the features of a rar file ext as i believe this one is the latest of the two?
Advance features of a rar file ext
Hello Peter
RAR file extension, ZIP files and RAR files are designed for a common purpose for which to package files and compress their size into smaller size, but the remarkable features of RAR files are that you can leverage security provided by RAR file extension with 128-Bit password so you can send your files securely online, Another feature is that you can divide the big size files into smaller parts and send them partially ( i.e : Move-Par1.rar , Movie-Part2.rar, etc.. ) .
One thing that you should know is that RAR is not supported by windows so you need to install software that supports this file extension such WinRAR.
