Adobe Flash CS6 AIR SDK version 3.4 is missing

Hello,

I got this error in Adobe Flash CS6 about AIR SDK is missing from my PC. The problem is that I have the latest version installed on my PC and this still appears. Anyone know what could be the cause ? What is causing this error in my Adobe Flash CS6 ?

AIR SDK version 3.4 is missing in folder “/Applications/Adobe Flash CS6/

AIR 3.4” . It will be removed from Publish Settings.

Adobe Flash CS6 AIR SDK version 3.4 is missing

This error has come after installing CS6 on the lab PC manually. Usually, if you are in a local account like “Admin” the problem should fix itself the first time around but when you are dealing with user templates and student accounts, it will keep popping up ever time Flash is opened.

To fix this issue first of all download AIR SDK 3.4 from the Adobe website. Then open the file to uncompressed it. A folder will be generated in the same location. Next change the name of the folder to “AIR SDK 3.4”. Change permissions to 755 via Terminal by typing “_{chmod 755 /path/to/directory}” and hit Enter. Then move the entire folder over to “_{/Applications/Adobe Flash CS6/}” and double check that you have done everything right by opening Flash in a temporary account.
