Adobe CS4: File-Format Module Cannot Parse the File

Hi everyone at TechyV!

I am unfamiliar with this error in Photoshop CS4.

I didn't find resources for it on the web so I thought I'd ask it in a forum instead.

Perhaps someone has encountered and fixed this glitch.

If you can share anything about this error, thank you very much!

Adobe CS4: File-Format Module Cannot Parse the File

Hi Dorothy,

I've encountered this problem in Photoshop before and I found the answer at Adobe FAQ. There maybe a corrupt file that causes the problem. You need to reset your preferences . Do you know how to change or delete your preferences? If not, you just have to press Ctrl, Alt and Shift on your keyboard and then you will get a confirmation dialog which automatically resets your Photoshop into factory default. Or for better result, try to re-install Photoshop CS4. Don't worry because the preferences will not be affected by re-installing it. I hope that this will help you fix your problem.
