I am intrigued on the load balancing Server 2008 feature of Windows Server and need some overview of it for knowledge augmentation. Does anyone have the technical knowledge to elucidate me?

Abstract Of Load Balancing Server 2008 On Windows Server.

The Network Load Balancing (NLB) feature enhances the scalability and availability of Internet Server apps like FTP, firewall, proxy, VPN, the Web, etc. along with other mission-critical servers.  Two or more computers can be combined to form a single virtual cluster which has the availability of a vast resource. NLB offers performance and reliability to such cluster on the Web Servers and other critical needs of servers. The same set of IP addresses address the computers in a cluster with the use of NLB. There are other features of NLB which are highly advantageous.
