Hi techyv,

About the compatibility of Samsung wave Skype application. Is this Skype application compatible with my Samsung wave mobile phone device? I have to ask first before making some secure download to avoid data error or complication during the installation process, it might harm my mobile system if compatibility issues will occur.

About the compatibility of Samsung wave Skype application.

Hi,

Skype is only available on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone recently. Bada / Tizen (the Samsung Wave operating system) has not Skype, and Microsoft has no plans to make it compatible with this OS. You must know that Skype is now owned by Microsoft and will probably never be released on any phone working under Bada.

About the compatibility of Samsung wave Skype application.

Hey Isabella,

You can find Skype for Bada OS located in this website

This version is only a demo and there for will only supports Chat, and does not include Calling Feature.You will either have to wait for a new release or use another VoIP application.

Just for your information, Microsoft is most likely not going to launch a java format of Skype.
