I am having a new Samsung Galaxy S2 which functions quite well.
However, I am having some problem with the Samsung Galaxy Ace Web Skype since I am not able to make video calls at all.
I have tried several times thinking that maybe there is a problem with the front camera, but I established that the camera is okay.
What can I do to fix this?

First, Uninstall any existing version of Skype from your phone.
Then download Patched Skype version from XDA-Developer forum.

Your Samsung Galaxy Ace and Samsung Galaxy S II run on the same Android version but Samsung Galaxy S II has a slightly newer version than the first one. The Samsung Galaxy Ace Smartphone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread while the Samsung Galaxy S II Smartphone is on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace can’t be upgraded to a much newer Android version but the Samsung Galaxy S II is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Anyway, here are the specs of the new phone. The Samsung Galaxy S II is a 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies.
