7 – Zip : Diagnostic messages

Hi guys,

I downloaded several files in 7-Zip files. While opening those files I received an error message frequently. The screenshot of the error message is as under. Operating system of my machine is Windows 7 Home Premium. Have you any idea for the error? Please help.

Hello Jhon,

It appears like you are missing a WinZIP application on your computer. Such a program is needed to be able to extract the files successfully, and therefore you will need to install one. I will recommend WinRAR which works perfectly, and you can a get a free trial version of it online.

Dear Jhon Anderson,

You have three possibilities of your problem:

1. You downloaded a compressed file that consist of several part so you should select all of these parts together and extract them with WinRAR.

2. This file may be corrupted or in other format other than .rar or .zip

3. You may have not installed a program for opening compressed files and if this you should download WinRAR.
