The steps to fix 0x00000e9 error are as follows:

• Modify your BIOS Settings.

1. Restart the system and enter to BIOS setting by pressing F1, F2, F10, ESC or DEL.
2. Select Optimal Load Defaults.
3. Configure setting to IDE or AHCI by clicking on Advanced option.
4. Restart your computer.

• Repair Windows.

• Restart your PC in safe mode.
