I am here to ask a technical question about my PC. I have been using Microsoft Windows XP since 2008 but I have not seen an issue with my operating system as it is being faced by me right now. The problem I have got with my system software is that my folders or even drives us to open without any follow-up.

Mean, whenever I open any folder or I click on any local disk drive, it opens in a separate window rather than in the same window. Suppose. If I would like to open five different folders in a single drive then they must be open in each separate window. For overcoming at this problem I have applied different methods and used various tricks but no gain till yet.

In Windows operating system, in every version I have operated. Till now I haven't seen the System32 file. What is this?  Why this is named like this, why the "32" is given in the file name?  What is it's job?  I have seen that if I delete this file, the system fails. Why? Why is this file is so important and if the file affected by any Virus what happens? Is there any way to repair this file? And is there any way to replace this file if it's deleted?

I have successfully installed the NI USB 6008 device on quite a few XP Embedded machines. I'm not sure if XP embedded is supported or not. But it seems to have worked up until now. We now have a new batch of XP embedded machines and I can no longer get the driver to install.

I have tried using both the NI DAQmx v9.0.2 and NI DAQmx v9.2.1. I have also tried the full download (all crazy 1.2 GB of it) and the 'Core' version. All of the versions claim to install successfully but when I plug the USB-6008 into the USB port Windows says the USB device is not recognized. I found a patch for a USB problem (NI-DAQmx 921p1.zip) and applied that but it hasn't made any difference.

I am using Microsoft Windows XP SP2 home edition and I am having a problem with my PC’s performance. The issue of which I am been victim is that whenever I use to open more than three windows of my internet browser, my computer goes hanged and everything stops responding.

Even after this I cannot shut down or restart my PC because the computer is suppose to be totally jammed than. I have tried lot of things to overcome at this issue but I am not been able to fix this issue via any of my adopted method.

For the solution of this irritating problem, first of all I reinstalled my internet browser (thinking that my browser should have been corrupted) but after this step the problem still remain.

I am using windows operating system XP service pack 2. I want to setup password protection to my individual files and folders but I don't know any way how to setup password protection for individual files and folders. In windows XP, is there any tools to setup password protection for files and folders? I want to know please tell me and can anyone explain is there any same tools in windows seven?

Sometimes I see that the CPU usage shows 100% or around 100% though no program is running. What might be the reason behind this problem? Many times I have seen this as I use Windows XP service pack 2 what am I supposed to do? It makes my PC very slow, as  my processor always looks busy for some thing else, I don't know.

I can't figure out the reason behind this problem.  So I can't do anything to solve the problem. I need immediate assistance to solve this problem please. Some one quickly answer my questions and tell me how I can solve the problem. Please explain it to me, I will be glad, what the reason is and how can it solved.

I have seen the term virtual memory is used in windows operating system. In all version of windows till i have used i have seen this virtual memory is always exists but i have never know what it is and what type of function does it executes.

I have Pentium 4 2.0ghz computer with Intel845glva board and 512 MB ram my system has 40 GB hard drive the problem is that I have been using windows XP for 4 month I installed it on drive C: it is 10 GB partition.

I Installed Many software, It has full that's why i  uninstalled software. But I never get my previous space back I think windows XP required 2.5gb but it toke 6 GB ?

Scan disk is a very strong feature of windows operating system. I have experienced the power of it in windows XP but I have never used this in windows seven so I don't know how to use it in windows seven. Where to find it in windows seven? I have tried to find it but I can't find it. In windows XP I have seen that scan disk can fix the error's in hard drive and some time it helps to remove bad sector from the hard drives.
