When is the best time to defragment a hardly-used hard drive on a Windows Server 2003? This is a file server which has files that are written and deleted for many times in a week and is accessed by around 25 users. Is there an alert when the hard fragmentation is reached?

Our 2008 AD network runs 200 Windows 7 machines and I’m wondering, which maintenance tasks are appropriate for these machines? Disk scan, defragment, etc.?

Can AD 2003 domain users use their credentials to log on to Windows 2003 FTP servers? Is there a way to have a single login so there is no need to authenticate every connection?

My Gimp is working fine yesterday so I tried to re-install it on my Windows Vista PC.

But today, as I started it, it is not working correctly. The error that I am receiving says libglib-2.0-0.dll was not found.

I tried to reinstall the program again but only get the same exact message.

I am receiving the following errors on my Windows Server 2003. I am using Retrospect 7.6.2.101. The error is “Can't access volume xxxx error -1102 (drive missing/unavailable). Trouble reading files, error -1221 (can't access database).” How do I resolve the error? Please help.
