Last year I purchased Lenovo laptop with Lenovo OEM Windows7, and now I’m planning to purchase a Dell OptiPlex desktop.

I want to know if it is possible to reuse Lenovo OEM Windows7 for my new desktop.

Recently I purchased Lenovo laptop with windows 7 pre-installed which came with Onekey 7 engineering DVD. Problem is that, it won’t install properly on my system. Every time I try to install I receive message saying I have to upgrade my windows, but my windows is updated. Does anybody know the cause of this problem and how to rectify this?

Whenever I connect to cam, I receive message for update. I try to auto update but connection fails in middle of download at 43% again and again. I have windows 7 installed on my PC and recently I updated my drivers audio Conexant Dolby, since then I, m having problem with sound. Sometimes it works just perfect, sometimes it stops playing and sometimes what I get is noise. Does anybody know the cause of this issue and how to fix my audio drivers? On my notebook, I installed Windows 7, 32 bit version recently, and it was functioning. But a few months later, my notebook began to restart repeatedly. I tried to make an earlier image of Windows, but failed. Again I wanted to install Windows cleanly, but that gave an error no: 0x80070057 which says that cannot be installed on the partition.

Even when I tried to use diskpart method, it was unsuccessful. I have a headache trying to solve this issue. I would like to request the experts to help me resolving this problem. Please help me……….

I recently added a third RAM of size 2GB into my Dell Optiplex GX620. The original specs had 4GB RAM (2×2) and OS is Windows 7 64bits. Bios check had detected correct installation of the additional RAM.

However, I couldn't get the Windows to run and it restarts itself right after the Windows Start-up screen. All three RAMs are of the same brand and size, specifically Kingston KVR800D2N6/2G. I'm really confused why the BIOS can detect them as okay and working but my Windows wouldn't start up.

I suspect this is with the operating system as it would seem to work fine when I remove the third RAM. Do you suggest I just switch to Ubuntu instead? Can anybody advise how to solve this problem?

I am not familiar with the option of windows 7 sound management. What is the use of windows 7 sound management in the operating system? I need an expert suggestion for this question that is familiar with this option in windows. Also tell me the procedure in order to change the setting of windows 7 sound management.
