I have been using CometBird for browsing then randomly I got this error message. 

CometBird.exe – Unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because ssl3.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I tried uninstalling and installing it for several times but the error wouldn’t go away.  I was used to CometBird for web browsing and didn’t want to switch to other browsers.  So, please help me resolve the problem ASAP.

I was playing the SIMS 2 Bon Voyage when I got this error message. 

The SimsTM 2 Bon Voyage

Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_NOT AVAILABLE! The application will now terminate.

I tried restarting put then the game stalled and gave the same error message.   I looked for a solution in the internet and it seemed that a lot were experiencing the same problem but no solution has been given yet. 

I chanced upon this forum and would like to try my luck if someone could help me resolve the problem.

I just downloaded a new game from Steam and tried to start playing but then I got this error message. 

DXSETUP.exe – .NET Framework Initialization Error

Please set registry key HKLMSoftwareMicrosoft.NETFrameworkInstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location

I searched the internet and found out that .NET Framework isn’t set up properly.  I searched on how to do this but couldn’t find any site that showed how to set this thing up. 

Any expert from this forum who can teach me how?

I was playing Crossfire when randomly I got this error message below.

I tried rebooting and re-installing the patch I just installed from MPGH but the error wouldn’t go away.  

I checked my internet connection and it seemed fine.  I was at a loss and didn’t know how to fix the error.

I got this error while playing with one of the TeknoGods mod in my game (see screenshot below).

It’s infected by a Virus or cracked. This file won’t work anymore.

I didn’t know how to get rid of this error, so I searched the internet, but couldn’t find any solution.
