Hi,

I got this error while playing with one of the TeknoGods mod in my game (see screenshot below).

DLLLoad.exe

File corrupted!. This application has been manipulated and maybe

It’s infected by a Virus or cracked. This file won’t work anymore.

I didn’t know how to get rid of this error, so I searched the internet, but couldn’t find any solution.

I chanced upon this forum hoping to get some answers.

It’s not clear if this is a false virus warning or just a plain error generated by the game.

To make sure, update your antivirus and then run a full system scan on your whole computer. If after the virus scan the antivirus did not find any anomalies in the computer, check your hard drive for any possible errors that might caused that warning.

Use a disk utility application to check your hard disk. You may also download Norton SystemWorks or Norton Utilities from the internet to help diagnose your hard disk. It is a very reliable tool in checking and fixing a hard drive for any errors in the file structures, cross-linked files, misallocated file space, invalid entries in the file system, misreported free space of the hard drive, and others. Or, you can just use Windows disk check tool.

  1. Right click on drive C and then select Properties.
  2. Click Tools tab.
  3. Click Check Now.
  4. Check Automatically fix file system errors.
  5. Click Start.

Run the game again after the disk check. If it is still encountering errors, uninstall the game, install it back, and then run it afterwards to see if it is already working. If still nothing happened, the last option would be to format your hard drive and install Windows again and everything else in it.

Always update your antivirus or maybe replace it with a much reliable scanning capability like Norton Antivirus, McAfee Antivirus, or Panda Cloud Antivirus.
