I need help with my Sybase. I installed my Sybase last 2007.

Do I just recently reformatted my pc in which Sybase is installed.

When I reinstalled Sybase, it seems to have an error.  

How do i properly install Sybase open client windows XP?

I am running Windows 7 and I tried installing Premier Element 10 but got the error message below. I tried a number of things including using safe mode, running it through msconfig without extra service, reinstalling .NET Framework bit I was not successful in changing the registry keys and I still have the same error. I downloaded an instructional video from a website and burned it as a DVD using Toast, however the video cannot play and instead I get the error below. Any ideas how to fix this?

I am using Version 1.80 Ultra wave however when I tried running it, I got this error message "Unable to initialize serial communication. COM port unavailable" when I checked for the serial port from \toolsserial port, there was no serial port to select. Please help me resolve this
