Networking

The Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) utilities have been set up on Vista SP1 to manage remotely. No computer object can be put into Active Directory using the Active Directory Users plus. Other active directory objects can be added except computer objects. I will appreciate any help by providing solutions to my problem.

My computer is running XP (SP3) and I’ve been experiencing some connection problems for almost 2 days now. This computer is part of my network. The internet connection does not reach the map drive of the server.  I’ve tried shutting down the unit , restarting it again and running the virus scan.  I’ve also checked if I need to defrag ,  since it says “low disk space” even if there is still over 100GB free space. I’ve already checked the firewall and reset the router, but still, nothing happens. I don’t know what to do with this. Please help me fix this problem.

Good day!

We have a switch server standard edition 2003 and STM database EDB plus , file increased to 76GB (exceeded 75GB), Three (3) months ago came up problems like mailbox stockpiles dismounted by itself and we have to manually mount it once more. It happens about once a week. We advised our users to archive their emails and it helped to fix the problem but now when I check the priv.edb and pub.stm, the size turn out to be even bigger (about 86GB).

Are there any suggestions to reduce the size?

Thank you…

Hello!

Please lead me.

We’re planning to purchase a NAS to run along with our Microsoft Small Business Server, are we compromising the security of our data?

Are there some ways for Active Directory to handle the access rule who will be allowed to access the files?

Thank you…

I was trying to connect the Dell running vista to a wireless network wherein the security was not established. The connection was successful.  However, it says “connected with limited access.” Even the Vista laptop which is next to it cannot ping the router.  I dismantled the IPV6 protocol, updated to SP1, restored the factory settings, reinstalled the NIC driver and then restarted the unit afterwards. I’ve tried all the possible actions I could think of, but still, there were no improvements. Please help me on how to fix this. Thank you.

Dear friends,

I need to join one of the networking companies.  The company is running on Windows based.  I need to know how to configure Windows servers to that company.  How to Admin that servers.

How to troubleshoot that servers.  I also need to know how to configure Active directory.  I need step by step explanation.  If anybody has good materials, please upload to me.

I was online and suddenly my internet disconnected. When I tried to reconnect it could not go through, it indicated that the settings on my computer do not meet the necessary requirement. There was another internet connection pop up menu and I tried to connect and it indicated that the connection was taking longer than usual then it finally indicated that it was unable to connect. What could be the problem with my computer? I am using the same connection as before and now it can’t connect anymore, although I am sharing the internet with other people in my household.

I have two laptops that I want to network so that they share a printer and I will be able to transfer from one to the other. What is the best way to network them? Should I use LAN networking or wireless?

Secondly, I am using Ubuntu as the Operating System, I don’t know whether to change it to Windows XP or Windows 7, I don’t know which of the two is good. I use the INET-FI on my laptop. Although I don’t want to, if I need to remove it what do I need to do?

My Computer is receiving a signal from another wireless connection. I don’t know the password for that connection but when I try to connect to it, sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn’t. When I am surfing using my wireless connection I get certain intervals of disconnection so I have I have to reconnect again. I am wondering why this is happening, why can I connect to an unknown connection and why do I keep on disconnecting every time I use my own wireless connection? I will be very grateful for help.
