Digital performer is a digital audio workstation/sequencer software. This software is installed in my computer running Windows 8. However on startup I get the following error in the image below. Any suggestions?

The file was created in a later version of Digital Performer and cannot be opened in this version. Try to save your file on another disk or folder, or with a different name.
