I installed Steam, but during the install I got this error message box. I have tried also, to install two different versions, but this error appears in both. Recently I have made some updates to my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 (x32). Can anyone tell me if the updates are the problem with my steam and that’s why I can’t install it ?

I have this error with SoundSource it cannot find this file Atmosphere Strings Ambient.zmap. The program is working just fine on my friend’s laptop, but it has this error on my PC. We both run the same OS, almost the same configs. We can’t figure it out about this error, so please someone can help me with this and fix the error ? Why I have this error and my friend not ?

When I opened my MAC today and started the Steam I got this error which it says that another steam is opened. I have verified all the programs that are open and I didn’t find any other steam opened. I have rebooted the MAC and the error appeared again. Can anyone help me to start the steam on my MAC ?
