CyanogenMod 9 RC and Ice Cream Sandwich are finally together! Although, I want to know more about the issues between these two.

  • What are the main bug issues?
  • What are the prominent customization issues offered by this update?

Respectfully,

I have assembled a new desktop PC successfully. [Using the Build Your Own PC section of this website for information on how to do that]. I bought a DDR2-1066 (PC2-8500) RAM memory kit from Kingston (KHX8500D2K2_ 4G) that should run at 1,066MHz. However, when I run the CPU-Z utility, it reported that the memory is running at PC2-6400 speed only.
That is, at 800MHz instead of 1,066MHz. I have downloaded a PDF document on Kingston’s website that says:”Each module has been tested to run at 1,066MHz at a latency timing of 5-5-5-15 at 2.2V”.
How do I get the RAM to run at its correct speed?

Hello experts, I need help.

When I turn on my Windows Xp, it gives me "svchost.exe -application error", it also says "The instruction at '0x71ab664d' referenced memory at '0x71ab664d'. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the program. There's no other button but "ok".

Then it gives a series of numbers that will just not go away.

Any advice?

Hi,

I am planning to buy a new computer for my gaming, Photoshop and some video editing jobs.

But I get confused when I saw the two 6 GB PC's with different Mhz.

The first computer has 1333 Mhz while the other one has 1600 Mhz.

What is the difference between the two and which among them is best to use considering my purpose of buying a new PC.

Can someone please help me decide?

Thanks.

Dear TechyV Experts, I would like to ask what might be the problem of my computer. Because every time I play online games and PC games, my memory drops to a thousand bytes. I am sure that my computer has still 10GB of free memory in each disks. I hope you can suggest options on how to avoid this sudden fluctuation in my computer memory. I would be waiting for your valued answers. Thank you and have a good day!
