Hi all,

I am having an HP ENVY 15z-j100 Laptop with pre-installed Windows 8.1. It came with pre-installed HP hardware Diagnostics software. I use to run it once in a month. It worked fine since last month.

When I tried to do it this month, it says that the test takes 10 minutes, but when I start that it will start the test and keep on running for hours and sometimes it will never come out. It is freezing most of the times without giving any error.

Is this a problem with the tool itself or something with my laptop? Any idea why it is happening? Please help me out here guys. Thanks a lot in advance and regards.

I need your help on the a strange issue with my HP Envy Notebook. It was on, I attached adapter to it for battery charging. For some reasons, it shut down automatically. I tried to power it on but failed. I asked my friend to help. He suggested me to try powering it on after removing battery; unfortunately, it did not work.

I do not understand what could be the problem. Can anyone explain the reason and resolution it?

I have decided to purchase BenQ E2200HD monitor for my newly upgraded PC.
The PC is already running with Vista ultimate 64 bit and Windows XP dual booting. Want to now upgrade the 17" CRT to LCD. Considering the GPU has HDMI port I have selected E2200HD to get full HD native resolution. The PC will be mainly used for gaming, viewing the movie (DVD movie – non HD) and a Little bit of ms-office jobs.
Please suggest which one to buy?

My laptop turns off if I don't have my power brick plugged in so I thought the battery was failing. However, when I ran a software to check the battery, the results were fine. I also checked the battery health info found in the BIOS and it also told me the battery was ok. What could possibly be happening here?

I have a new XPS 15 and suddenly it started having problems. The laptop turns off whenever I plug in the adapter. It worked fine with the battery, but as expected, it didn't last long since the battery drained out. The light on the power adapter is always on so I can tell it's fine. What do you think is the problem? Is this something I can fix on my own or I should just call tech support?

My Latitude E6430 started not to boot all of a sudden. I get a message saying 'No bootable devices'. If I press F2 to check in the BIOS, the hard drive seems to be detected. I ran some diagnostic tests for the hard drive and it turned out fine. When I tried booting to a DVD, it also did not recognize the disk. What should I do next?

I have an HP laptop with window 8 on it, last night I tried to transfer a file from my laptop to my mobile but when I searched for Bluetooth option I didn’t find it. The device manager however shows drivers installed for Bluetooth.
Is any software required for this?

The screen on my Dell Studio 1747 laptop is showing colors and I am getting beep codes. I checked the power adapter and it seemed fine. There is power on the laptop but nothing shows on the screen except for the colors. What is wrong with my laptop? Please help.
