Hello,
I just installed XAMPP version 1.7.4 on my laptop. When I access the localhost, using a secure connection (SSL, using https) it gave a warning about security certificates. The warning goes like this “The site’s security certificate is not trusted!”.
Well, I don’t know much about this, but how making a trusted certificate anyway? Does anyone concern about this thing or just ignore it?
Thanks.

I am using Firefox 6.0. Before, I had Firefox 3.6.8. I saved my different account passwords in Firefox 3.6.8. When I installed Firefox 6.0, those passwords were lost.

Hello,
Maybe this is a simple question but for some.
Please be kind to share your tips. I need to change the password for “root” in phpMyAdmin.
But I don’t find any idea how doing that. No link or tips from phpMyAdmin.
It gives me some notification, but not the way to solve it.
Thanks for your time.

Dear Expert,
I’m in the middle of installing Magento on my computer. But the installation process was stopped by the error message when it tried to create the database in MySQL. The error message as follow: Database server does not support the InnoDB storage engine. Previously I’ve installed XAMPP version 1.7.4 contains Apache 2.2.17, PHP 5.3.5 and MySQL 5.5.8.
So, what I need to do so I can continue Magento installation process? What database server do I need to install Magento? I appreciate any help or solution from anyone here. Thanks.
Database server does not support the InnoDB storage engine.

Hi,
I’ve tried my best to set the Apache configuration so that I can use a real domain name in the web address instead of “localhost” although I’m working on a standalone computer. I’m using Virtual Host configuration, but doesn’t work. What I miss or someone here can give me some advice? Thank you all.
I put some picture to make what I mean clear.
1) Access my web server using localhost
2) Set the Virtual Host on file “httpd-vhosts. conf”
<VirtualHost *: 80>
DocumentRoot "<PATH-TO-DIRECTORY>"
ServerName mysite. loc: 80

Hi dear,
I have a 1MB internet connection and it is being shared by 4 persons. The modem is in my friend's house and I am connecting via wired connection. I just want to know if it's possible to do the following:
1. Check who is online among the 4 users.
2. Disconnect other user's connection when I am downloading something due to the download speed becomes very slow.
3. Access other user's computer remotely.
