I usually use my phone to call international numbers but I was looking at the Skype rates and they are much cheaper than the telephone subscriber I currently use. Is Skype good for calling International mobile and landline numbers? How is the voice quality? Is it worth spending money to make phone calls from Skype? Suggestions please.

Hi all! I have a core i3 Dell laptop that I have been running for 2 years now. It has windows 7 on it and it worked all fine. I use Skype a lot and recently Skype keeps on telling me that the computer speed is slow and it affects the call. The call is fine and so is the computer speed. Why does it keep on saying that? Is it some kind of a Virus in my Skype? It is really annoying. Please help.

Whenever I enable the Java Plug-In in Mozilla Firefox, I get this error that Java Plug-In has stopped working and is disabled for your security. I don't see a reason why it should be blocked. Why is my computer not connecting to the internet? I run “ipconfig /all” in the Windows command prompt, the IP address and the submask address is 10.53.26.84 and 255.255.255.0 respectively. I also ping the server, which is also working perfectly, but when I pinged the server name, it fails. Where do I go from here? How can I restore my internet connection?
