Dear expert what is the most suitable version of Ubuntu for laptop computer ?

It has 2 Gb of RAM and not super fast Nvidia video card.

I have problem with my computer. It creates Long Beep Sound when I'm burning some video files. Only the sound come's out when I'm burning.  But Sometimes the sound doesn't comes out when I burn again another disk. I'm working in video Editing and I'm Using EDIUS Software. my PC is SuperMicro Computer. Please Help me to solve this problem.

I haven't set any password for my memory card it works alright in my Nokia e63.

But when i transferred the card to my Nokia N82 it asks for a password.

Is there any default password ?

Or is there any technical mistake ?

I started using my computer today, and I get an RGL error.

I don’t know what is causing this as I have not changed my computer in any way from yesterday and it was working fine.

Hi all,

I am using the Vuze DVD burn software. I had a Vuze library in my C drive occupying a lot of space so I moved it to an external drive to free up my space. I also made some changes in the default directory and now when I am trying to burn a DVD I get an error. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

I am using IntelliJ Idea 11.1 and everytime while launching, it causes the computer to freeze. What happens is when you double click on the idea, the mouse pointer freezes and becomes unresponsive and none of the shortcut keys work either.

The only way to solve it is to physically restart the PC.

I am using OS windows 7 x86 service pack. Recently I bought a Buffalo external ministration 3.0 drive for some of my very useful programs. But when I tried to install this external hard drive, a driver installation error occurred on the screen.

I uninstalled the drive and then tried to reinstall it again many times, but I was met with the same error every time.

Every time we open our computer there's a warning always coming and says Disk checking on files F.. press any key to cancel disk checking within 9 seconds. Why is this happening before logging in?

I am using the Asus g74sx xt1. I have recently installed a Xonar d1 sound card in my system. A friend of mine suggested me to use ASIO output for Foobar to get a clean and clearer sound. So I installed .dll file in the components folder and updated Foobar to the latest version. I updated it to version 2000.

Now when I try to initialize Foobar 2000, I get the following error message on the screen:
