A few of my graphic card drivers are not functioning properly. I have heard that disabling hardware accelaration feature of Mozilla Firefox helps in this regard. Can an expert pls guide me how to disable this particular feature and tell me if it will really have an effect on the performance of the drivers? Thank you

I am using Windows Vista and would like to remove FireFox from my PC. I tried to uninstall it by going in the Add/Remove programs section, the pop up box appeared saying the program was being uninstalled but it did not. Every time I watch the videos using Firefox, it stops buffering the video randomly and then I checked my network usage with task manager and my bandwidth usage was dropped into 0%. This is happening to me every time I watch the videos. I am using Firefox 25. I tried with Google chrome also but the result was the same.
