Hi mates,

In OLEDB Source task, I have tried to use the Stored Procedures in the SQL source command. But the task is not producing the expected results in the SQL table. I have tried the same SP in SSMS. It was producing the results as expected. I am not aware of using the SP in OLEDB source command.

There must be some tactic to do this. Can anyone give some ideas as to how to handle the Stored Procedure in the OLEDB Source task?

I am trying to perform Merge Join using OLE DB source task in SSIS package. I am trying to process millions of records in the package. But I don’t know why it was taking so much time to do this simple task. Then I checked the log file and noted that it was taking so much time to sort the incoming data. But, I have already used “order by” clause in the SQL source statement for the sorting purpose. Can anyone tell how to improve the performance in this task and reduce the processing time?

I must hop on every type of reports to arrived on the desired format that will be exported to. So I decided to just import data from Sybase to excel, on my exporting process an error occurred  that I pasted below.

On my analysis of the problem, I can hardly figure out what went wrong with my process of reverse engineering. So to make sure maybe I left something, I repeated all the process, and same error displayed again.I am asking for some technical advice on the issue that I encounter on how to implement reverse engineering.

I was using Sybase for my database maintenance routine, when I meet a program error and points to scjview. exe, and my Sybase exits.

Program Error

scjview.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.

I restarted my computer in the hope that it will be ok upon rebooting. When the computer starts again, I tried to use Sybase to continue my task. After an hour of using my computer, the error message appeared again and again. Sybase exits.
