I have an application written in Java that needs to communicate with MySQL database, but on the other computer. What is necessary to allow MySQL database server such an approach?

Simply specifying the user name and password is not enough, because the server reports that were not granted access by the user 'username' @ 'REMOTE_HOST', where REMOTE_HOST computer name from which I try to access.

       I have created an access database for my HR department at work but I get error# in each field on the database. Once I [x] out of the database and then go back to it, everything seems to work fine. Someone told me this may be due to the large amount of data in my database. If this is the problem, then what should I do? I would like to be able to keep all data in one database for easy lookup. Please help if you can.

Recently there was a power failure, and now I am not able to get my SQL server started.

Today I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 in my system, but it gives a message that selection components are being configured, and when I receive this message then I press Next button but the same message appears again.

I was using Windows XP a month earlier and I installed this program easily but now I am trying to install this program in Windows 7, and it shows me this error.
