I have a School management database program, made by using visual FoxPro. I cannot add new features in that database software using, Ms Access. I want to convert everything to Ms Access database.
Please let me know how I can solve my problem?
Convert Visual foxpro made software database to MS Access.
Fox pro has .DCB files while Access has .MDB files and there are no direct steps that you can follow to translate your FoxPro to Access and no import or export button as well. But there are many third party software that you can download, to assist you in your conversion.
The Microsoft website recommends DBC2MDB, which can be downloaded through the UniversalThread.com. Another third party software that has come up to solve the problem and even do the vice versa – .MDB to .DCB is DBConvert.
You can go online and download these programs but make sure to download everything, clean to protect your computer. Using these tools, you can convert and migrate data simultaneously. Sessions using the software are always saved. Different software vary in some features but they all convert the files from one format to another and vice versa. You just need to find one what suits you best.
