I am new to database. My teacher said, 'take care of SQL Injection". What is it? How can I avoid it? I know it’s some security risk.

I Googled it, and I saw some examples but it’s not clear. How can I take a comprehensive measure to avoid it?

My computer operating system is Windows 7. But Recently I started having a problem. I can't install Microsoft Visual Studio C++6.0 . When installing has reached 80%, then this message is shown, '' iavasing.dll was unable to register itself in the system registry " and "Microsoft visual studio c++6.0 is not successfully installed ".

What's the reason ? Can I install Microsoft Visual C++ this way. Please guide me.

I am a Visual Basic programmer and I am using Microsoft Access for my databases.

I am using Microsoft Access for a couple of years now.

I haven’t encountered this problem ever since, but since last week I started encountering it.

I think it is just a simple error which cause comes from cluster or index error.

But as I tried to fix my windows using CHKDSK run at start-up, the error didn’t solve.

I want to  upsize the database I'm using from the original design of Microsoft Access database to SQL server model because of the expandability of my work and access cannot therefore be a good option for me, to make my database distributed and work with it in the server to client environment. 

What requirements do I need to accomplish this?

I use MYSQL to connect to a database and recently, I encountered an error that has denied access to the database.

Is there anyway the problem can be solved?

I have attached a screen shot of the command prompt showing the error message. The message reads, "ERROR 1045 <28000>: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' <using password: YES>".

I'm trying to set up an SQL server that will administer my Microsoft Access databases but the problem is that when I try to enter data into the databases with the validation that I set up originally, in designing the databases from Microsoft Access before I uploaded in SQL server, the validation does not seem to be working.

I am a student of Computer Science. Recently I got enrolled in the course of Databases.

After teaching for few weeks, my instructor ask me to install postgress SQL on my system.

I have installed it successfully but when I start it I get an empty dialog box ( please see the screenshot attach).

Can anyone tell me how to configure it?
