I have heard that Micromax x800 is a great phone. It was built with an 8MP Camera with a wide resolution, and is a Java type of phone. I would like to try and buy this phone but, I have no idea where to get it. I’ve been searching the web, and of course I found a lot of sites and I cannot decide which are legit. I'm choosing between a Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab with 1 GHz Cortex-A8 CPU, PowerVR SGX540 GPU, Android OS Gingerbread and an LG tablet android.  Does the LG Optimus LTE Pad stand up to the specs of the Galaxy tab?  LG tablet android is much cheaper than Samsung.  Any inputs on this?

I have a Lenovo z460 with Intel Core i3-380M 2.53 GHz processor, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HDD, 512 MB Nvidia Geforce 310M and currently running on Windows 7 64 bit. 

Would upgrading to Windows 8 compromise the computing speed of my Lenovo z460 i3?
