We are currently faced by this situation in our work station where we get almost a thousand error messages only on one server. The computers on which these printers are connected are not even running yet we get the error messages in the Event Viewer stating that a certain driver required for a particular driver could not be found. The administrator has to be contacted before re-attempting to login. These errors are affecting everyone at work and I have been unable to figure it out so please help.

Can you help me out how I shall use Windows server 2003 to run a website with the HTML files and pages that I currently have. The domains do not bother me at all but I am looking for a way to configure my IP and type it in and gain access to the page. Any of your suggestions on this matter are welcome. Thank you.

Hey, does anyone has an idea why I am currently experiencing problems with one of the DCS in my environment which is failing to get a new RID pool from the master since it has exhausted its pool? On doing both replication and RID manager test nothing out of the norm turned up but on invalidating the RID pool it turned out that it had already been invalidated. My attempts of coming up with a user object to have the RID pool request from RID master were not successful either.

Can someone help me figure out why I get an error message saying

Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network, Group policy processing aborted?

This forces me to restart my server each day, and I am tired of this. I am looking to settle this issue once and for all.

Anybody who has a solution for this?

My desktop has refused to work. This is because whenever you attempt to start it the screen goes blank and the only thing displayed is a message stating that the operating system could not be found. I have tried to reboot it with a Windows 2003 disk and also tried configuring BIOs but all these efforts were to no avail. This really gets me to frustration. Anyone who has an idea that can help? I shall be really thankful.

My computer is currently running on the new Windows 8 the developer preview as the final version has not been released yet. However, I am experiencing a number of problems with it for instance when closing an application you must open the task manager in order for you to do this. This is really a long process and I am wondering if someone has already found out how to close applications without having to go through the task manager. Is there a shortcut for this? Please let me know.

I have a HP 533w computer installed with Intel Celeron which runs on 2.0 GHz. Contrary to the documentation, updating the processor to Intel Pentium 4 that runs on 2.4 GHz didn’t work. The monitor was blank and no single message was displayed at any time. However, the Intel Pentium 4 that runs on 2.0 GHz worked perfectly. I am wondering if this problem might be caused by the integrated video card that is currently being used. Anyone out there with an idea how to solve this please feel free to inform me.

I am having problems when trying to upgrade BIOS on ASUS P5N-D. I have never tried to do this before. When I downloaded the update and had it put on a FAT32 flash disk the .bin file was found in ezflash 2 when the computer was restarted. The only drives that I see now are drives A and C and for some reason which I don’t know my main drive cannot be found. Drive A was found to be empty and C drive is the CD drive. I am now unable to access the update.

Can someone help me figure out why I get the error message which bears the words “The procedure entry point get could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL windows 2000”. This has blocked me from accessing any file that I have downloaded in the recent past. I have been unable to correct this situation and I would be grateful if I receive some hints from you.

For quite some time I have been using a Proline Nanoware PC without experiencing any problems at all. However, this has changed since Windows got corrupted. In trying to solve this I tried to reset it to boot from the CD but I could not gain access to BIOS. How come it displays on the diagnostic screen that a keyboard has been detected yet, when you press any key nothing happens?

This happens every time I connect a USB keyboard. Resetting the motherboard jumper has not eased the situation. I don’t know what to do next. Someone please help me...
