Hello. Well, here is my question. I never use antivirus all the time while surfing.

I just use it to scan some files and folders that seem suspicious.

I had AVG but now I installed the last edition and I didn't like it at all!

I couldn't even disable it easily so I uninstalled it.

I just need a free antivirus to enable it, scan some file and disable it.

And I don't want an online antivirus.

Any ideas?

I used to think that there's no need to have antivirus for Linux but I realized there are several antivirus programs for Linux. So, do I need to install antivirus? I don't use Windows at all. I downloaded Ms Office in English, and I wanted proofing tools to be in another language, but I had to pay for that!

Is it possible to have English interface with proofing tools in another language?

I would download Office in my language, but I'm used to use the English version.

I need your help. I just installed Ubuntu and I tried to install Skype but I get the following error message: Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libqt4-core.

I tried to install libq4-core from the terminal but the package could not be found. Any idea why this is happening? I really need Skype for my work. Thank you guys.

I had dual boot Ubuntu-XUbuntu and right after I deleted the partition of XUbuntu from the live CD I started getting this error message every time I boot. What does that mean? How can I make my PC start again?

I try to share a file  and I get this permission error: 'net user share' returned error 255: net user share add: failed to add share media.

Error was Operation not permitted. I am a total noob in Ubuntu and I need help to fix this or another way to easily share files.
