Recently I have upgraded my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and it was successful. But, I am facing problems with the MS Word only. I wanted to pin the MS Word application to the task bar. But, I couldn't find the MS Word application anywhere except the taskbar. I am not able to select that as well. However, I am able to see all other Microsoft applications like MS excel, MS PowerPoint etc., I have a genuine copy of MS Office but why am I facing this problem? Can somebody help me out.

Recently I installed Microsoft outlook 2013. One issue with this is very slow in getting the mail from the server. I am working on multitasks like checking some other files and back to the inbox. Another issue is it is crashing continuously. When I am composing a mail it is crashing in the middle. I'll have to type it all over again. Today it happened about 3 times. Taking a lot of time to send one mail for loosing the data because of crashing. Anybody faced the same type of problems? Please give me a solution.

Hi there, I just installed Skype. I am a new member to Skype. I logged on to Skype without any problem. I didn't add any contacts till now. When I am trying to add new contacts or getting Facebook contacts to Skype it is showing this error message "Check your internet connection". My internet connection is working fine. I checked my firewall settings and it allowed Skype. Please someone help me out on this issue. Thanks a lot guys!

I recently owned a new Samsung Galaxy tab. I went to my friend's house, it was connected to the internet and worked properly. After that I came to my house with tab first time, but it is not connecting to the internet and getting this message: " Network disabled because internet connection is slow". I am using Dell internet. I don't understand whether it is a problem with my tab or with an internet connection. Can somebody please figure out what is the problem?

I put my Lenovo X220 in hibernation, unplugged the power adapter and did not power it back on the whole day. When I went back the next day, I realized it turned off since it didn't have the adapter plugged in, so I pressed the power button and the computer immediately went to the screen where I left it the day before. I want to hook up my TV as a second monitor for my Dell laptop with a dual display setup. I want the second monitor as an extended display. My laptop only came with onboard graphics, will it be able to support that kind of setup? Which connection should I use, the VGA or DVI?

My Acer Iconia A1 tablet started to have touch issues. Even without touching the screen, as long as a certain part of the back cover is touched, the screen moves on its own. This started after the tablet was accidentally dropped. There was no visible damage on the tablet, no bent plastics, cracks and scratches, but it's acting really weird lately. My question is, will this be covered by the warranty? Is this a hardware problem or can this be fixed by resetting the device which means losing all the apps on it?

Is it possible to have OpenVPN enabled in iOS using the default profiles from PIA? If this can be done, what should I do to make it work? Is it going to need a certificate and key files? Where can I get it? Does it come bundled with configuration files from the PIA?

I gave my smartphone to my brother so I removed all the apps on it including WhatsApp. I just received my new smartphone and I want to install the app on it, but I wonder, will I be able to see the messages sent by my friends when I was not using WhatsApp?

I have not tried a Chrome book yet and I'm curious. I know a Chrome device may be used for other things aside from browsing the web. What are its advantages over a PC or a Mac? What are the applications that it can run? If it does not support applications like Skype or MS Office, are there application replacements available?
